Frequently Asked Questions
ZüriClean collects fitted kitchen units, worktops, and appliances directly from your flat across all Zürich Kreise and surrounding communes. We bring our own tools for disassembly and handle everything from carry-out to eco-compliant disposal.
Guide prices start from CHF 350 for a small kitchen with no appliances and lift access. A standard kitchen with basic appliances typically costs from CHF 550. A confirmed written fixed-price quote is provided free of charge after you share the details of your kitchen.
No. The Züri-Sack is for household waste only — kitchen cabinets are classified as bulky waste (Sperrgut) and cannot be placed in standard household waste bags. Placing large items on the pavement without arranging an official ERZ Sperrgutabfuhr collection or a private service is not permitted in Zürich.
A standard kitchen takes 2–4 hours from our arrival to completion. A large kitchen with stone worktops and multiple appliances may take up to 6 hours. We give you an estimated time window in your written quote.
No — disassembly is included in our service. Our team brings the tools needed to remove doors, carcasses, worktops, and fixtures. You do not need to do any preparation beyond ensuring appliances are electrically and plumbing-disconnected before our arrival.
Fridges and freezers manufactured before approximately 1995 contain FCKW refrigerants that must be handled by certified specialists under the Swiss ChemRRV regulations. ZüriClean identifies FCKW-risk appliances during the quote process and coordinates specialist refrigerant extraction where required — this is either included in the quote or clearly itemised.
All materials are sorted and delivered to the correct licensed facilities. Wood goes to ERZ-approved processors; metals to certified scrap recyclers; appliances through the Swiss VRB e-waste system. We do not mix materials or tip everything into one skip. A written Entsorgungsnachweis is available on request.
Yes — this is one of ZüriClean's most popular combinations. Our team removes the kitchen first, then performs the end-of-tenancy clean, including the cleared kitchen area. This typically saves half a day compared to booking two separate services and waiting for different teams.
Yes. We provide a written Entsorgungsnachweis (disposal confirmation) on request. This document that your kitchen was disposed of in compliance with Swiss environmental regulations — useful for landlord inspections or employer reimbursement claims.
